Cookie Policy

This website makes use of cookies and third parties components to provide better user experience.

Cookies and similar technologies are very small text documents or pieces of code that often contain a unique identification code. When you visit a website or use a mobile application, a computer asks your computer or mobile device for permission to save this file on your computer or mobile device and gain access to information. Information collected through cookies and similar technologies may include the date and time of the visit and how you use a particular website or mobile application.

These components can process users personal data such ids, ip address, etc. so, in some cases, for non strictly necessary technical cookies, users explicit consent is needed.

We use:

Necessary cookies, in order to ensure the website functons properly;

Performance cookies, to gather statistical information about the use of our website, also called analytics cookies. We use this data for performance and website optimization, and the only processing operation we perform is related to the creation of statistics via pseudonymised data concerning navigation on the website.

Based on the implemented configuration, which does not rely on identifying information, the following data are collected:

  • IP address, which is masked by setting the final 2 bytes to ‘0’ (
  • Operating system - Browser type - Device type (PC, smartphone, etc.)

Functional cookies, which can be set by our external service providers or our own website to enable more functionality for our website visitors;

Advertising / tracking cookies, set by external advertising partners, used for profiling and tracking data across multiple websites.

Why do we use cookies ?

We use some technical cookies to improve user navigation and interactions on our website.
For instance, third parties components help us provide information to users such as Youtube videos,  or securely interact with users when acquiring personal data in special website forms (Contact Forms to request business information -  Career Forms to apply for jobs); these latter specific forms securely transfer data to our Recruiting Jazz Software system, hosted in the USA.

So we don’t want to track you at all, we just need to assess our website usage, and interact with users bt means of standard web tools which, unfortunately, track or profile users.

What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?

Cookies are not the only way to recognise or track visitors to a website.  Websites may use other, similar technologies from time to time, like web beacons (sometimes called "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs").  These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enable Data controllers to recognise when someone has visited their Websites or opened an e-mail that has been sent to them.  This may allows us, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within our Websites to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to our Website from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve site performance, and to measure the success of recruiting campaigns, for example.

3D2B doesn’t make use of such tracking technologies at the moment, but Third parties (Google, Linkedin, Facebook, etc.) could.

In many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly, and so declining cookies will impair their functioning.
